  It was my first time in Thailand and the Millennium Hilton was awesome. The room was very large for a good price. I would highly recomend the river view side as the view is simply breathtaking. The room was clean and it was cleaned twice in 1 day. It may seem excessive but considering that I was really only in my room for sleeping it was still ok. The hotel has plenty accomodations if you don't want to go out with a couple of different restaurants and a spendy, but well worth it, steak house on the 3rd or 4th floor. Another huge bonus was the staff. This was the first time anyone has ever walked me to my room before and this was after I said no to the room upgrade. The hostess was extrememly helpful explaining where I can view shuttle times and what to do if I needed any assistance. One person in particular, the concierge desk, was more help than anyone should've been. I didn't really know where to begin my sightseeing and he took the time to show and explain how to get around where to go and a number of different options. AND he hooked me up with ringside seats for some Thai Boxing. He was a huge help and I probably wouldn't have had as good of time had it not been for him. Great experience overall. If I ever make it back to Thailand I would definitely stay here.

• Outstanding hotel

  Through the hotel, we arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport. They were there waiting when we arrived and took care of our luggage. After arriving at the hotel, we were taken straight up to the Executive Lounge where we were offered a drink while waiting for them to check us in. Then we were shown to our room where a bellboy shortly arrived with our luggage. We highly recommend staying in the Executive floors as you get access to the Executive Lounge where they have several free amenities, including a buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, happy hour, wireless internet and drinks all throughout the day. It is a nice place to come and relax after braving the Thailand streets and peddlers. The room was nicely appointed, with a large comfortable bed with several pillows to choose from, a desk with various power connectors (110-220V). The bathroom was spacious with plenty of space to spread out on the counter for two people without problem and there is a separate tub with jets and walk-in shower. The view from the room was outstanding; you could watch for hours the river traffic and the city skyline at night. The service in the hotel is very courteous and they will go out of their way to help out. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommended this hotel.

  Hotel is located across the river from all of the hussle and bussle of Bangkok. Easily accessible by boat to the BTS station, and by Car from the airport.
  
  Rooms a lrage, very modern and have great rivers views.
  
  Amazing rooftop bar - 360 - the pool sit 5 floors above the river and has wonderful views and shade, for thsoe that dont like the heat of the day.
  
  Great steak restaurant on site Prime - fantastic service from the staff - some fo the best in Bangkok.
