    The is an exclusive Hotel....If you don't know about The Strand you wouldn't find it! It's really nice! I would stay there again on my next visit to MAMI! The beds are VERY comfortable!

    This is definitely a 5 star hotel. The location is super excellent, the staff were super friendly, and the suite was super nice. I will certainly stay at this hotel again instead of vacating at the Doubletree or Marriot. What you see in the pictures are what you get from the pool to the plush rooms. The only negative that I had was the 3pm check-in time, but on the flip side they did extend my checkout time sense my flight did not leave until 9:30 pm. To the bellman Jamie thanx for making my stay the best of all the times I have been to Miami, I hope they read this and give you a raise.

    THe room was fantastic with a little kitchenette, super roomy, ultra modern and beautiful. The front desk was friendly, however did not come through on the early check-in as was confirmed the day before, leaving us to wait for 5 hours with no lobby in which to rest. They checked our luggage for us while we waited and explored the city, but not having somewhere to chill away from the stifling Miami heat was a bit of a turn-off. Otherwise the stay was fantastic, room was fabulous, a second from the beach, and the music, while at times loud, was not bothersome, as we were in South Beach to Party anyways. Thanks Strand!!!

    I can't sum my trip any other way! Miami itself is fun, but the location of this hotel were key! For two girls traveling alone, we were safe, in the middle of EVERYTHING! The hotel itself is not horrible, it was beautiful and very chic. I wonder sometimes who writes the horrifying reviews- they must be the types of customers who aren't happy with anything. Simply put- if you're miserable here at the Strand, you'll be miserable anywhere! :)
