    Clean rooms, great location and great service with smiles made my stay there enjoyable. The Italian restaurant is first class, and breakfast there was a treat, the fresh fruit, omlettes, service, just awesome. The best feature was the concierge desk and staff. They were friendly and worked hard to help me with my business and sightseeing. All with a beautiful Thai smile.

    Booked A deluxe room for 2 nights at the hotel. Arrived late due to flight delay. I was upgraded to a 5 star hotel nearby.. Sofitel Grand Sukumvit. Staffs were very apologetic and sorry about the arrangement. Even took a taxi with us to the new hotel to make sure we are nicely settled before going back to Grand Mercure. Cheers to its customer service

    The superior vs. deluxe rooms are vastly different-the deluxe is far more comfortable. The superior room was filthy and smelled as if it had not been cleaned in one hundred years. Once charged there is no attention to customer service or retaining clientele. I also felt uncomfortable when I presented them with billing or housing issue and they refused to speak in English-I could not trust their service. There is no concierge desk and the staff is extremely unhelpful in navigating the city. If it weren?t for the heat/ hassle of Bangkok and limited time I would have relocated.
