  The hotel is new and the rooms are nice, but the location is dreadfully in the "middle of nowhere." The prices for internet, telephone, meals and drinks were disgraceful. You cannot walk to anywhere worthwhile. I've stayed at hotels in Rome that were nice, well located and didn't price gouge their guests,

  Due to the distance outside the city, travel to and from Rome central is a bit of a hassle. If you do an early morning tour, the taxi fare expense can begin to add up over time. The hotel is still not situated to change dollars to euros, or convert travelers cheques. They are still pending authorization. The taxi service is quite efficient and is between * and * euros per trip depending on where you go into the city. The pool is fabulous, crisp and clean. The breakfast that is included is quite filling and appetizing. They need to work on conversion systems from AC to DC voltage to charge digital cameras and cell phones since their conversions do not include transformers which blew our charger. The concierge is extremely knowledgeable and quite friendly. He helped us book our tours which were spectacular through VASTOURS. Except for the travelling in and out of the city, the hotel experience met our Marriot expectations.

  This seems to be one of the newer hotels in Rome. Rooms are nice and the property is well laid out. The hotel is located a bit out of downtown Rome. However, this is a nice feature if you like visiting Rome without the hustle and bustle of staying in the city.. There are no dining or shopping options within walking disatnce of the hotel. Beware of high prices at the bar and restaurant on property. Free shuttle service to downtown Romes is a life saver for tourists. About a 20 minute ride. Overall, I would stay at the Rome park Marriott again.
