    We were there for my girlfriends Bday and EVERYONE was so nice and helpful from the maid service to the Bell hop and everyone in between. The beds made me want to pack one and take it home with me. Spada had a wonderful staff their breakfast buffet is top notch and seeing that we only had breakfast there because we had the meal ticket. No need to have a car everything is within walking distance, however I do reccomend getting one just for one day and taking a trip outside of the city and see Hawaii in all its splendor and glory. The only downside to this hotel would be that they need to outfit all the rooms with new air conditioners, ours broke twice and we were there for six days. Don't get me wrong they fixed it in about 10-15 minutes tops, but not having to call them at all would be good too. Bottom line GREAT STAY!! Love this place!! Oh and do the Germaines Laui definitley worth the money!!!

    Like most of the other reviews have stated this is a good deal in a nice location. Rooms are comfortable. Lobby area is modern with free access to the internet and nice bars. The only downside I would say is the cost of parking and the lack of it. When we checked in to the hotel the valet informed us the lot was full and we would have to go across the street to park. Sounded easy but they gave poor directions since most streets in the area are all one way.

    My husband and I stayed there 07/03/09 for 1 night as we were taking the Pride Of America cruise. The bellman are totally awesome! They rush right out to the shuttle to carry your bags in. The check in was fast and the clerks were friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, they seem to be newly remodeled. They are quit small though but for only one night it was fine. The resturant was pretty good and there are tons of places to eat within walking distance. The beach is only about a 10 min easy walk. The pool looked nice but we did not use it. The whole place is just spotlessly clean, we even saw people polishing the elevator doors! The shower was nice and hot, and we appreciated the in room coffee maker!

    The hotel is like four blocks from the beach. The rooms were small for one bedroom suites. We had to change the rooms three times before we could get an acceptable one. The first two rooms had stains in the carpet and on the walls. They were to take the first two rooms off market but we later found out that they later booked those rooms. We heard the people complaining to the desk about the condition of their rooms. Need to renovate and all will be good.

    The room was very comfortable and beautiful! I had upgraded my room to the queen sized bed with a microwave in room. All of the staff very helpful. The valet was always eagerly running to get my rental vehicle for me and recommended terrific local places to visit and eat that I wouldn't have known about just from reading a book or web search on Hawaii. The housekeeping service provided were always good at making sure that the room was clean. I never heard my neighbors through the walls. The pool was nice for swims and to relax. There was a room with 2 xboxes and plasma tvs, also quite a few massage chairs for those who wanted to sit in their game room. The hotel provided the controllers and had a selection of games to choose from. It's a little cold in there so bring a jacket. Be sure to have plenty of quarters if you plan on using the washing machine and dryer. The showers are enough to fit one person only. They have a vending machine for Tide but not for dryer sheets. The bartender there made the best pina coladas I've ever had!!! The food from Spada for room service was delicious! I was extremely pleased with my stay there and would stay there again during my next trip to Hawaii.
