We stayed at the Residences at Biltmore in late September 2009. We needed a two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen for a family reunion. The room was absolutely fabulous, clean, well-furnished and beautiful. The kitchen had all new appliances and granite countertops and was fully stocked. The stone fireplace warmed the entire living room/dining room/kitchen and turned on with just a switch. There were large flat screen TVs in the Living Room and both bedrooms, and the living room also had a DVD player and CD player. There were two full baths, the master bath had a giant jacuzzi tub and huge walk-in shower. The other bathroom had a full-sized bath tub/shower combo. The unit had hair dryers and a scale in the bathroom, and a very cool lighted make-up mirror in each bathroom. The unit had a washer/dryer in the master bedroom. The beds were very comfortable, and the sofa turned into a bed that the kids slept on. We had four adults and three children in the unit and had plenty of room and privacy. There were complimentary bathrobes and an umbrella for use during our stay. We did not see the pool area as it was cold and rainy during our stay. They do deliver a free USA Today on weekdays to your room. Overall, we could not have asked for a better place to stay and we will stay at the Residences for all of our future visits to see family in Asheville.

Our stay couldn't have been better- every person we encountered on the staff was absolutely friendly, cheerful, helpful and polite. The attention to detail was present in the inclusion of an umbrella in the room to use during our stay, robes, towels at the pool, a paper in the am, and a prompt response if we had a request for anything. The location was excellent- close to downtown Asheville while still being rather private and quiet, and also close to major roadways leading to the airport and the surrounding area. Having a kitchen was so convenient- we were able to take advantage of some of the area's good food but could also eat in. Our daughter goes to school in the area so it is nice to find a place that we can have her come stay with us and feel at home. There is a washer and dryer, and the only complaint I could make is that they are both extremely slow, especially the dryer. A very small point overall. I did wish there was something to clean the kitchen with- we bought some groceries before checking in and I didn't think to get dish soap or a sponge or a dishcloth (there is a dishwasher) but again- I think that this is a minor point. We were on the 300 level of the topmost building which was actually at ground level- the 200 level rooms were below the level of the parking lot which I would have not preferred, but I got the impression that if someone was unhappy with this the staff would have been happy to change rooms. the pool, hot tub and fire pit were all wonderful and clean, and in a nice private setting. Overall- a truly pleasant stay- we will definitely return!

This hotel is an apartment/ condo building that rents outs units daily. The space was great. The rooms are very nice - well appointed. The only problem was the noise. We were awakedned at night by people in adjoining rooms. They really were not that loud , it was just like they were in the room with us. There is no sound insulation. If a door shuts anywhere in the rooms around you, it shakes the whole unit. It is a shame becuase other than that, it was very nice. But I would not stay ther again due to the noise.

This is no hotel. This is a luxury condo with a fully equipt kitchen, granite counter tops, stainless appliances, toaster, blender and a washer and dryer. The queen size bed was very comfortable with luxurious linnens. The studio room was plenty roomy with a sitting area for the large HDTV with DVD. The marble bathroom was large, with a walk in shower big enough for three. You could live here. Just a block from Biltmore Estates, the wooded setting is charming. The staff was very nice and helpful. I can't believe I got this room for $. What a buy!

We would recommend this hotel to everyone - adult travelers, families. We couldn't believe how lovely it was and an added bonus was the low price. We were in a studio room that had a full kitchen and lovely balcony so that we had no desire to leave for breakfast but rather enjoyed the view from our own room. The location is excellent for touring both Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. The front desk was very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. One of the best finds ever!
