The hotel was beautiful and the people very friendly. It is right on the beach, the one draw back to this hotel was the price for breakfast. A breakfast buffet for $20.00 US, kids breakfast about $10.00. Room service was a liitle slow, but it is the caribbean. We were put in a one bedroom suite, but no television set in the living room, so our whole family had to watch the disney channel. Would I recommend the hotel agian.... I sure would the workers here was just great.

Three of us just returned from 10 days at Bay Gardens Beach Resort and had a super fine time. We were in St Lucia about a year ago and saw the resort being built so we came back to see the finished product. We had an ocean view one bedroom suite. The room was very spacious , clean, decorated tastefully, and had very modern amenities. The staff at the resort were very friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely courteous. There were a vairiety of nationalities both at the resort and at the beach which made every day new and interesting. The resort had activities and entertainment most nights that were fun but if you are a late night partier they probably would not meet your expectations. The resort provides easy access to Reduit Beach, lounge chairs, bar and food service on the beach. For the best food and cheap Pitons you have to go to the beach shack, Sabrina's, next to the resort. It looks like a dive but X and her mom X are great. Ask for the flying fish. The beach is very nice, much better than we see on the east coast, but the water clarity vairied based on the number of people. When cruise ships are in the adjacent beach can get crowded but we always enjoyed the activity. Tips. You HAVE to go to the jump up in Gros Islet (Friday) if you want to hear loud music and eat great street food. Find the Happy Day Bar, 2-4-1. Try Mangos's and see if LaRoulete is open for paninis. Some reviews have expressed concerns about safety but we found everyone to be respectful and courteous. We were out of the resort at all times and if you use common sense, no problems mon!
