    This is a great hotel for your stay in San Jose. I highly recommend it. The service was outstanding, the room was clean and nicely decorated and the restaurant had fantastic food. I'd definitely stay there again!

    Best place to stay in Escazul, the service and hospitality were incredible. The restaurant at the hotel provides a true dining expirence. Had one small problem with a hotel taxi , it was solved before I brought it to the managements attention.

    I went with a friend of mine and we loved it! The staff was accommodating, courteous, professional, and well-humored. They even arranged our excursions to the rainforest and other areas via e-mail before we arrived! I felt like I could trust all their recommendations. Their rooms are brand-new and the hotel's architecture makes you feel like you're in a small city within a city. The surrounding area was okay, but the hotel really stands out in comparison to the area. There is a small outdoor pool and hot tub that makes you feel like you're in a rainforest. We got free breakfast every morning and you can make free international calls because they have VOIP; however, the calls were not always very clear or would drop altogether. They have an excellent restaurant and bar, but it is pricier than most outside locales. Presentation, service, and abience were excellent! We also ate traditional Costa Rican food, as recommended by staff, at a restaurant located two blocks away. The food and price were just right. Downsides? Well, the hotel is located pretty far from excursion sites, but we were always picked up first by our travel tour buses. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

    This hotel was truly one of the best,if not the best hotel I have ever stayed at, and I have traveled to several places, including Paris, Milano, Spain, Scotland, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. The hotel itself, landscape, etc was beautiful. The area near the pool and hot tub looked as if you were in a rainforest. The room was very nice, the bed and pillows provided were extremely comfortable. The business center and fitness center were both open 24 hours a day which made it very convenient. One of the biggest pluses was the free local AND international phone calls!!! I've never experienced such a thing! That was great, and allowed me to make phone calls everyday that normally I wouldn't have made. The location was downtown San Jose...about a 20min bus ride and less than $0.50 from the hotel. The hotel was right smack in the middle of the town in a very non-tourist area, which for me I love, being able to see the country from the locals perspective. Yet at the same time was very secure with steel gates that were watched and opened only by the hotel security/staff. The only negative perhaps was that the closest beach was about 2 1/2hours away. The biggest reason for this being my favorite hotel was the staff. They truly exemplified true customer service. Extremely friendly, personable and helpful. They really, really went above and beyond the call of duty, in particular R and L.

    It was absolutley gorgeous. We wish we could have stayed longer. A beautiful place to have wedding. It was in a very safe area. We needed a ride to the airport at the 3:30 in the morning and were accomidated. The airport is only 15 or 20 minutes away. The room were beautiful ad the beds were so very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be staying there again.
