  Slow Check in---After redirecting me to their "owners lounge" for checking, it took 45 minutes as they tried to convince me to attend a presentation on their timeshare resort. I declined, but was reapproached by 2 additional individuals trying which added to the check in time. Additional charges--I had a charge of $* per day appear after my return which they claim is mentioned, but I didn't see it. I didn't use any of the resort amenities while there but was charged a fee not mentioned prior to my stay. Overall a nice resort if you like that environment. Close to Disney. Safe environment.

  Room was a two bedroom suite, very nice and clean. Resort is wonderful with many activities that we would have pursued if we had stayed longer. Loved the lazy river! Disney Parks are within a short drive. Be sure to ask which line you should check in upon arrival to avoid waiting in the wrong line.

  The complex is huge! There is plenty to do on-site. However, it was a little creapy at night. You can walk to a bus stop to go to various amenities, but the stops are spread out. It was a good distance to a stop from our unit and not well lit. So we drove everywhere instead. I would have preferred being closer to a pool and other people. It was a bit of a walk to the pool or a bus stop to a pool. The other thing was they charge for every little thing. It's an extra $* a night resort fee. If you want to go down one of the slides there is a charge. I was told you could borrow tennis rackets. When I went to borrow them I was told that I had to pay to rent them for by the hour. Check-in took about 45-60 minutes. While we were checking in the hostess told us there was a free contential breakfast. Then she added that you need to listen to presentation that should only last 60-90 minutes. Things kept getting added on, the bottom line was there was no breakfast. They were trying to sell you a unit or time share. Unless you have about three extra hours one morning, don't agree to it. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious. The beds were extremely comfortable. The property was very clean. We did the 9 hole golf course before we lieft. It was a nice course. The staff was freindly and courteous. Overall I would probably stay again. Next time I'll ask to be closer to the pools and bring our own tennis rackets.

  This has been the worst hotel i've stayed in my whole life, our room was in a basement, and to get there we had to pass thru a service area with a filthy smell, upon checkin the information provided by the clerk was inacurate about the "timeshare tour". and they never informed us that there is no housekeeping inlcuded on the rate, the hotel personel always appologized by all the problem but did not do anything to make me feel better about it. please dont come to this place, i thought that the bad things would only happen to other people...

  The experience was wonderful from beginning to end. This place was as advertised. My family and I came to Orange Lake Resort to celebreate my daughters 10th Birthday. We wanted to find a place that accomodated all our needs on location and this place was above and beyond that. The check in was a little slow but the customer service was great. The room was very nice, it was a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite with a jacuzzi tub, washer and dryer, huge full kitchen, dining area and a huge patio. The room was on one of golf courses with a beautiful view. The kids including my wife and myself really enjoed River Island that's where the Lazy River, slides, and pool areas were. The have 3 arcades and we enjoyed the larger one nears the pools where you check in at. The property has 10 pools and we made it to 4 of them. They were all nice and clean. The property was well maintained. The golf courses were immaculate. We all had a wonderful time and would definitely go back to do some things we didn't have time to do this time . They were also very accomodating. The check out time is at 10 am. I knew it would be rough for us to make a 10 am check out because there is so much to do and we were up very late each night trying to take it all in because we were there for only 3 days and 2 nights. With this in mind I requested a late check out and they were very helpful and gave me a courtesy checkout of 12pm. Those 2 hours made a big difference and actually allowed us to get up and enjoy the facilities a little more. "Beautiful".
