The hotel itself was very good and the staff was very capable, but the management was very inefficient. The hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only real problem we encountered was a daily issue with the front desk. For some unexplained reason, the electronic room card key was constantly disabled and we would have to stand on line daily to get new keys. No matter the time of day or the length of the line, there were only two people behind that counter. We would routinely spend 30 minutes per day on line just waiting for a desk person to hear our daily complaint about the key. It seems that the simple notion of increasing the desk staff during peak hours was a novel idea in hotel managment at this hotel. However waiting on line was a good way to meet other Americans in the hotel because there were many with the same problem and we all seemed to be housed on the 8th floor. The hotel and the staff: yes. Management: no.

This hotel was just wonderful. The people who worked at the hotel were the nicest we met in Paris. The location could not have been better for us. I was travelling with my 75 year old mother and 26 year old daughter. We were in on vacation together to escape from a painful anniversary in Massachusetts. We put this trip together rather quickly-less than 2 weeks. Not alot of time to plan a week in Paris {or to learn French}. When we arrived our rooms were not as we requested. We were then upgraded and both rooms had a balcony and a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. We found the Concierge desk to be very busy. But we never felt like we were being rushed and found them to be really helpful. There would be 2 things that we felt could have been better. One was the restaurant-the menu was very limited and there was not alot of difference between the bar menu and the restaurant. After a long exhausting day of sightseeing we would have loved to stay at the Hotel to dine but did not for that reason. The other {very minor} complaint would be the computer room. While it was wonderful to have one provided it was not air conditioned, and all the computers did not work. When asked what was the best thing about Paris, I think of the River Cruise on the Sienne, Gourmet Restaurants, the Museums, the Gardens and still my answer is OUR HOTEL and the wonderful view we had from our balacony.

Hotel is very clean and well kept. Location is within easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and the subway station. A bus tour offering a hop on and off visit to the major sites of the city can be boarded right at the Eiffel Tower 5 minutes walking distance away from the hotel. Nice little bakeries and cafes located around the hotel. Conceriege and staff were very helpful and most accomodating. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Our stay at Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel was wonderful. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and roomy. Beds were comfortable with extra pillows in the room. Pay extra and get the delux room. The delux room is on the Eiffel Tower side of the hotel and has a balcony. Each evening we enjoyed the Eiffel Tower light show. The hotel is close to the Paris Metro; a short walk to both the Eiffel Tower and the Seine River. Hotel food is pricey but there are plenty of cafes near the hotel. We enjoyed a couple evenings in the bar where you can order meals from the restaurant menu.

First, I made the reservation through Travelocity and overall we had an wonderful vacation in Paris and the hotel was in the best location. Although we had a billing discrepancy at the end, the Pullman Hotel investigated and cleared it up to my satisfication. Check in was quick and smooth as we arrived early the morning of May 22 from the states and we were welcomed with smiles and quick attention to our needs by all front desk staff and bellmen. We stored our bags in the room, freshened up with a shower and went exploring. Breakfast, Patisserie, and grocery store was right around corner. We had a petite breakfast complete with coffee, croussant, egg omlet the bistro/cafe around the corner from the hotel. The Eiffel Tour could be seen from our room which made for a wonderful evening view when it lit up. The Metro, RER Train and Batobus (Boat bus on the Seine River) are within 7 to 12 minute walk. With the little French I knew, we found the people of Paris very welcoming and helpful! Housekeeping was very attentive and responded promptly to our requests for additional soap, toilet paper, etc. To Summarize, this is an excellent location with a wonderful staff. We appreciated their prompt service and we do plan to visit again. The air conditioning was not working but the weather was cool except fo the last night but we opened our patio door and it was fine...actually I noticed many people opened their windows or doors at night at the hotel and throughout the city. Free Internet access from the Business Center in the lobby was very handy checking up on news, airline/flight information.
