  A spacious lobby and glass block to pass light between rooms and halls was pleasant. The staff was friendly & courteous. Unfortunately, many incidences lessened our experience. I booked through Travel agency as I've done MANY times around the country, but for some reason this hotel only showed one room reserved, not the two as was clearly shown on my pre-paid reservation (which I fortunately printed out). In the room, multiple lights were burnt out (although they did fix them the next day after I mentioned it). Long black hair from a previous guest was all over the shower wall. One flaw in the room design is that there's zero ventilation at the interior end of the suite, leaving it perpetually stuffy despite us leaving the heat off and the sliding door in the bedroom wide-open the entire stay. The biggest disappointment was the pool and hot tub. We rarely use hot-tubs at hotels, but were hoping to relax our stiff muscles a bit with a soak. After stepping into the hot-tub, we noticed it didn't smell right, and then noticed that the green-yellow color was the water itself, not the tile! A film of scum floated at the sides. YUCK!!! We wiped off with our pool towels, and thought maybe the pool would be better (at least it was the right color). Even allowing for having come from the hot tub (cesspool) the swimming pool was very cold (other patrons agreed). Getting a look at the debris on the bottom was concerning, but stepping on a partly dissolved chicken wing really ended our pool interest. Showered afterwards, but then discovered that housekeeping left no towels in our room (using the pool towels was a unappealing option) We air-dried while waiting over an hour for towels to arrive.

  This hotel is great! Every thing went well. The front desk was very friendly and helpful they helped my husband get new directions on how to make it back through the border quicker, we tend to always get stuck there...... Even though we checked in pretty late (10:30 pm).Anyway, the room was great too, I was shocked to see how roomy it was for that price. Room service was fast and the people are friendly. It was close to everything too! All in all, we cant wait to come back and stay here again!!!!!
