  (I didnt stay in August I stayed July 11 2009 but it wont let me write that for some reason)I arrived at 4 pm for my room and they let me know that their maids didn't show up so I would be waiting until at least 5 pm for my room. I had plans and really needed to shower and be ready for them and when I went back @ 5 pm they told me it would be another hour at least and were quite rude about it. I missed the entire reason I came out to Kamloops bc I was not aloud in my room that I paid for and wasted a lot of money coming over from the island to do so. The women that were running the check in seriously need a lesson in customer service or to find a new job. Oh, and when I spilled a bit of water on the carpet and put some toilet paper on it the paper was BLACK ... the carpet and NEVER been cleaned before and there were little hairs in my uncomfortable bed.

  my wife and i visited kamloops for shopping from willaims Lake and stayed at the columbia street travelers lodge was not good experance at all. When we went to check out in the morning the door was locked with a sign on it will be back in five minutes we waited 30 minutes. You could see the woman woking and looking out at us the whole time. However she never attended the door at all, we ended up leaving just putting our key back in the room. Were not impressed at all and will not stay with you again at that location.
