  Where to start! The room smelled like room freshner until you shut the door and then it smelled like dog urine, had claw marks on the door and molding, the carpet was ripped by the door, the tv didn't work, the bathroom grout was dark brown at best while the grout under the sink was off white, the faceplate in the bathroom was rusty and paint peeling off, one of the sheets were marked with black marker or something, and the shower ran from hot to cold without turning the knob. I wouldn't have stayed there but we checked in late with 2 kids and had already unpacked the car. Unfortunately we had friends stay at the same hotel and their room wasn't any better! The front desk receptionist was nice and listened while I rattled everything off as I knew it wasn't her fault the room was so bad. She took off $35, but it should have been free. We've stayed at a lot of hotels/motels and this was by far the worst. I've stayed at Super 8's and Motel 6's that were cleaner than this.

  My family & I stayed while shopping in Vancouver. They have a great location on the # 7 hwy. It is only 3 mins. from IKEA. Near some good restaurants but Tim Hortons is a bit of a drive. The hotel needs to be renovated & have A/C in the common areas. Our room was clean, quiet & comfortable so overall I was happy.
