  This hotel was not a good experience. The first room we were given had a window that opened directly on to another room's balcony. Someone could step right into our room. The front desk sent a teenager up to look at it and he was going to fix it with tape! We insisted on another room which they gave us. If there were elevators they were not pointed out so we had to lug a whole bunch of stuff up and down stairs. The overall hotel was very dated and a bit dirty. The restraurant, Denny's, was worse.

  We stopped in to a sold out city and recieved a friendly smile and welcome. Check in was fast and effiient as most times when we stop here. The staff is very informative and quick to answer questions or requests.
  Our room was perfectly clean, lovely poolside with easy access but perfectly safe for our children. The value was what was expected in August, a full service hotel, easy to find with a 24 hour restaurant, pool and hot tub with reasonable hours. We were one of the lucky ones who got a room!
  Denny's has a good family menu and they do their best while run off their feet!
  We always stay here and if you have ever had a bad experience, you would be the rare few!
  Our family loves the Sandman!

  The room was very poorly cleaned after the previous guests ... empty water and juice bottles still sat on the desk and bedside tables. there is not even hand soap in ...

  The room was very poorly cleaned after the previous guests ... empty water and juice bottles still sat on the desk and bedside tables. There is not even hand soap in the washroom. The pool towels were little more than hair towels. The washroom mirror was obviously wiped with a wet cloth and left to dry. This sort of attention cannot help but cause me to wonder what else has not been cleaned or changed ...
  Most disturbing is the doors between the rooms ... there are no locks, just "closet handles" that open only from one side. Not all that difficult for someone to work through, I've got all the chairs and loose tables in the room wedging the door shut.
  
  Considering the rate I expected more attention to basic cleanliness and security. I'd be prepared to deal with these issues in a room at half of what I paid for this one.
