  We stayed here for one night and went to the Butchart Gardens the next day. It is not quite downtown, but fairly close (we walked to the Parliament Building, etc.). Continental breakfast is included. Air conditioner was not very powerful, but the weather cooperated.

  This motel does not have ac. We were in Victoria during a heat wave, so it was not very comfortable. They did have an overhead fan, and we could open the window, but the traffic noise was loud. They do have a "llicensed" pool which means you can order drinks and have them by the pool. I would have prefered ac. We paid the same amount at this motel as we did for one in Vancouver and the one in Vancouver was far superior. They do have a shuttle to downtown, but not during the hours after 10:30 am-1:30 pm. Staff was friendly, but I would have paid a little more for something nicer and closer to downtown. You can't go by the star rating on this one.
