  The management and staff were incredibly lazy and insensitive to their guests' needs. They acted like they could care less about their guests. Front desk staff were incredibly unfriendly and acted like we bothered them by checking in. They made us wait for 30 min. and then called us over by yelling "Hey". Not the warmest welcome. As we walked to our room I noticed that the cleaning staff looked especially unhappy. The rooms are large for Manhattan standards but its not worth having to deal with the management and uncleanliness. The bathroom smelled funny. Beware that you have to hop over a ledge to get onto the terrace (not good for my 70-year old mother) and the tiles were uneven so you could easily trip (not good since you are up high). Best thing about the hotel is the view and room size. That's it. Between the beer bottles on the terrace and the funny smelling sheets, I definitely would not return.

  Perfect location for those going to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and SouthStreet Seaport. Easy walk to Wall Street Area. Parking approx. 2 blocks from hotel. Continental breakfast was excellent. All in all a wonderful stay.

  Great location, excellent service, a clean, comfortable complimentary breakfast starts the day, easy access to subway, brooklyn bridge, chinatown, wall street & battery park. quiet & restful with easy access.

  We found this hotel to be clean, comfortable & quiet. It is well located, about 15 minutes walk from Battery Park, near Chinatown, and the financial district are a few minutes away. Subway is two blocks. Located a few minutes walk from the Brooklyn Bridge. Service was outstanding. A free continental breakfast got us started each day. Best Western seldoms disappoints and this one is a gem.
