  When I was setting up our trip on a travel website and reviewing the hotels available to stay at my husband, who has been to NYC several times, said the area where the Millenium was (UN Plaza) was a great spot -- no sirens blaring all night, quiet -- but still close to everything you want to be surrounded by on a trip to NYC. Very close to walk to great sights and restuarants -- and if a cab is needed the drive was never very far. The staff was very nice, hotel room clean - felt very safe. The views from the room were outstanding! Never ate at the restaurant in the hotel as we were on the go all the time. Great little restaurants within easy walking distance -- and I do mean easy walking distance. Also a great little dry cleaners and corner market on the same little street. We will stay here on our next trip -- in fact it will be our 'home base' in NYC for all of our trips to come!

  I stayed for one night at the Millennium UN Plaza hotel and would stay again if I were in the area for business. The staff were all very courteous. The hallways were quiet. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The best aspect of the place is the views (aside from the convenience if you have meetings nearby). The only aspect of the hotel that could be improved is the decor...which was probably modern back in the 1980's (the bar in particular makes you feel like you're on the set of a movie). So, overall, this would be a good hotel to stay in if you were in New York for a night or two for meetings nearby given it is quiet and peaceful. If you are going with a family to see the sights of New York or on a romantic weekend getaway, you may want to stay somewhere more central in a more bustling neighborhood.

  For the price, this was a really great experience. The hotel room was very classy and modern and the view was absolutely amazing. It was also nice to have a pool and take a swim in the morning. The pool also had a great view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again!

  Stay from December 17 to December 21, 2008.... What a perfect stay, walking distance to everything, beautiful room...Lots of hot water. The view from our window was breath taking!! The people that work this hotel were the best, We ate every morning at John Cafe on the cornor of 2nd Ave and 44th street. What great lunch and breadfast for the money! They were three of us and we only paid $18. per meal for three, for a breadfast fit for a King. I saw my first snow fall and snow, how beautiful. I will be back and stay at this hotel again. It the perfect place to see everything!!! if you get a chance go to Bond 45 restruante to eat it in Time square, little pricy, but it worse it, the food out of this world. See you soon Millennium UN Plaza New York.

  I was hoping for a good view of the city at the hotel and we had a fabulous view. Woke up looking at the Empire State Building each morning. The lights at night were not to be believed. Great all the way around.
