  Not a great place for the price. breakfast choice were few and they had no sugar... no sugar? room was musty. it's in desperate need of a remodel.

  We arrived late on friday w/our 2 children, only to learn that room was cancelled! gave conf# and were rudely told we no longer had room. clerk only offered ...

  We arrived late on Friday w/our 2 children, only to learn that room was CANCELLED! Gave conf# and were RUDELY told we no longer had room. Clerk only offered VOICEMAIL to mgr BUT not available until monday? Wonderful clerk with Marriott found great room at Best Western Palms because the Marriott itself was full. We got that room only by luck due to a late cancellation. We were not even offered so much as an apololgy from LQ! If you reserve, make sure you have a ""PLAN B""! Shame on you LaQuinta on Ave Q for such poor customer service!!!
