  We had to evacuate from a hurricane, and booked this hotel because it's what we could find. After reading the earlier reviews, we were a bit worried, but when we got there, it was wonderful. The staff was courteous, and even helped us get FEMA evacuee information. I think they went above and beyond normal hotel service. Highly recommended.

  Excellent service at this hotel. We booked without looking at the reviews, and got worried when we did later. However, when we got there, the staff was incredibly courteous, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and it turned out to be an excellent and affordable hotel. Apparently the hotel has been updated, and there was a recent ""Most Improved in Region"" award on the desk. All this during a hurricane evacuation. They even gave us information on FEMA assistance. Highly recommended.

  booked adjoining rooms for a family. After the third night, gave up asking if they were available yet. Staff couldn't have tried any less to accomodate us. Rooms were dirty. TV channels were minimal, breakfast was poor. Most mornings by 8 there was little left and it was not refilled

  I was disappointed in my stay at the laquinta. normally a very fine hotel chain, my room at this laquinta had 2 beds with broken box springs. the beds sagged ...

  I was disappointed in my stay at the LaQuinta. Normally a very fine hotel chain, my room at this LaQuinta had 2 beds with broken box springs. The beds sagged so low in the middle that the bedding couldn't even be smoothed out. Also, the timer on the lights outside came on after dark so I was a little uneasy going to my room."
