  Great location if you are looking for a hotel near the downtown area for a good price. definitely more about pricing and convenience than room quality, etc.

  Worst stay of my life!!! we were demanded to leave at 4am for being too loud along with our neighbors who were being harassed for the same reason. we never ...

  Worst stay of my life!!! We were demanded to leave at 4am for being too loud along with our neighbors who were being harassed for the same reason. We never heard them, and they never heard us. Why? Maybe because we were all in bed sleeping. The securtiy guards were extremely rude and treated us like we were some kind of criminals. We all feel that we were violated and harassed, and I will now never stay at a La Quinta ever again.

  Worst stay of my life!!! We were demanded to leave at 4am for being too loud along with our neighbors who were being harassed for the same reason. We never heard them, and they never heard us. Why?   Clean rooms, ok breakfast. the location of our room-right by the elevator was a bit noisy, but otherwise not bad. loved being in walking distance from everything. desk accidentally ...

  Clean rooms, OK breakfast. The location of our room-right by the elevator was a bit noisy, but otherwise not bad. Loved being in walking distance from everything. Desk accidentally charged us for a prepaid room, but were very apologetic and took care of it right away. Staff was very helpful with directions and advice for activities during our stay. Rates were much cheaper than other downtown hotels. La Quinta helped to make our first time in Austin very pleasant.

• I don't understand the complaints I read

  The room, service and location were terrific. i would definately stay here again. i have stayed at hotels rated better than this and have been less satisfied.
