  This hotel was horrible! I was staying here for one night while my home (which is relatively close) was undergoing some routine repairs. While checking in, the front desk staff (whom I also believe was the manager of the property) was incredibly rude and kept asking me if I was staying alone in the hotel room. I assured him that I was, and after 30 minutes of this conversation he let me into my room. This gentleman then followed me to my room to make sure I was the only person staying there! I couldn't believe it! Later in the evening, when a friend arrived to pick me up for dinner at a local restaurant, the Manager again appeared and told me that this person was not allowed into my room because I had only paid for one person. I assured him that my friend was NOT staying the night and that we were just going out to dinner. He stood in my doorway and insisted that I pay him an extra for an "extra-person fee" before my friend could enter the room. It was completely out of line and an invasion of my privacy. How did he know I had a visitor at all, unless he was watching?! The room itself was dirty and in complete disrepair. The television and the mini-fridge did not work, and the linens appeared soiled. The description also failed to mention that this hotel is next door to the county jail! Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I do not recommend that anyone stay in this hotel!

• Absolute Nightmare!!!!

  Went on a family trip and thought we would save a little money. Lesson learned! Upon checking into the room I saw pee still in the toilet from the last occupants. My first night there my vehicle was stolen, yes thats right stolen!!! I found out from the police that this happens somewhat frequently at this motel. I tried 3 times during various times of the two days we stayed to meet with the manager to review the security tapes to the parking lot. Needless to say he was never there. My second night was not much better. After a full day of acitivities we were tired and it was pushing 11:00 pm. We got back only to find a huge party in the party room. It was extremely loud and disturbing. I went down to the front desk to ask that they keep it down and found other people in front of me with the same complaint. The person at the desk did not speak very good english, but was able to say that he could only relocate us further from the party room. We decided to stay only to be awakened in the middle of the night by a loud physical fight outside our door. The air conditioner did not cool the room very well and the room felt dirty. I would sleep in a tent in the park before I would stay in this place again. AWFUL!!!!

  We chose this hotel because it was close to an event that we were attending. We rented five rooms in total. There was not one of them that was truly clean. In one of the rooms, I killed four cockroaches and kept company with a lizard. In the second room, there were dirty washcloths hanging from the shower curtain rod when we checked in. That room did not get cleaned at all before the second night. The coffee pot and ice bucket were left dirty. The beds did get made, so we know someone came in, but the rest of the room was filthy. All of the rooms had an odor that we couldn't quite identify. We did not expect a great number of amenities, because we did not pay a great deal of money for the rooms. However, we did expect for the rooms to be clean and sanitary. And we expected fresh towels for the second day. We would have changed hotels, but could not find another reasonable hotel in the greater Dallas area where we could get five rooms together.
