  Disappointed! Upon entering the room, it was by no means renovated. The room was moderately clean but missed the basics like vaccuuming, wiping down fixtures. But, our main concern was that when we arrived back to our room from an entire day of sightseeing-our door was left open from the housekeeping. Fortunately, nothing was taken. Regardless, it should have been locked! Also, housecleaning did a "light" cleaning~ no towels were replaced, left used towels in the bathroom, left old soap, didn't re-supply toiletries, made the bed with no option to change the sheets. This was a Red Roof Inn, not a motel~ I would have expected a least a little better quality!

  The bathroom floor smelled like urine and was sticky. I made request to have it cleaned. Don't think they knew how. Bed must have had small spiders, I experienced at least 5 bites. Not even a coffeepot in room. Never will stay there again.

  Stayed here for three nights and was a bit disappointed at the condition of the hotel. I am defintely not a picky person and am willing to overlook a great deal with a hotel, but this one was a bit of a discredit to Red Roof Inn, Inc. Not that the front desk wasn't friendly; to the contrary, it was the bright spot of my stay. However, the room was quite musty, the A/C leaked and was quite loud, the walls are pretty thin and the room when I checked in had no towels, and was missing complimentary items such as soap and shampoo. I did ask for these at the front desk and there was no problem there, so not a big deal. I did find my room to be half-cleaned meaning that housekeeping was in a mad rush to get through all of the rooms and missed some important ellements, like vacuuming the floor and leaving clean towels. I believe that most people would consider this hotel to be of the bargain variety and as such you are going to get what you pay for.

  The toilet/tub area smelled of urine and the walls and back of the door were dirty. There was a spring coming up through the mattress. The bedspreads maybe have been clean, but they were stained and also had cigarette burn marks on them. The ice machine didn't work. The sidewalks were very dirty. Had to ask for an iron at the front desk and it had brown residue on it which got on my clothing. I would never stay here again.
