  I want to comment on the excellent customer service that we received during our stay. Your front desk employees were extremely pleasant, very helpful and had a beautiful smile on their faces each and every time I walked up to the desk. Also, the bellmen downstairs were very pleasant, smiling and very helpful. I was very pleased with the hotel including the cleanliness of the rooms, the location, and the proximity to the subway station. Thank you for making our stay a very pleasant one.

  I was looking for a birthday weekend getaway in New York City. I couldn't afford the Plaza, but wanted somewhere nice. OK this hotel wasnt luxurious, that would have cost $* more a night. But the room was a decent size, clean, and modern. I had a king size bed, which was comfortable. The heat and air worked great, hot water, room was spic and span. My only complaint was that the drapes did not close all the way so some light got in. I like a pitch black room to sleep. My room was right in front of the elevators, but I never heard them or loud voices. The best part was the location-2 blocks from Broadway, SoHo area. Also walking distance is Chinatown and Little Italy. The staff was super friendly-I called for a down pillow, extra blanket and conditioner. Someone came right away. Overall positive experience, not a romantic getaway, but good if you are looking for a reasonably priced room in the City!

  The room was small but neat. The bed was great and so was the air conditioning. Staff were friendly and helpful. The first night I requested extra pillows and alot more hangers which came in a comfortable amount of time to hang a week of clothing for our stay. I had alot of problems with the many functions of the desk phone. I would have been more comfortable with a less complicated phone. Always seemed to end up on speaker phone which made receiver useless and a need to yell into the phone base. Good shower and housekeeping service. The bar and restaurant were mostly closed. We tried to use the bar on returning from a long day and never found it open or anyone at anytime using these facilities. Bad timing or too short of hours.

  Advertising, watch out for misrepresentation of what you intend to get out of your money. The pictures realistically are queen size beds but it is stated as double bed. For the price this hotel should have been in a better location. A few blocks from China town as stated and I highly recommend all travelers to make your decision after reading the majority of the reviews because ""Ouch"", yes the parking fee for this hotel will sting pretty bad if you have a rental car. If you are traveling within the New York area then I recommend using the subway station for transportation. It is alot less expensive than getting a cab and more convenient with no worries of traffic delay. For the price of this stay I would give it a 3 out of 5.
