  Stopped over for an overnight stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Great continental breakfast included in price. Also had free newspapers. Didn't use the pool but the area was clean and the pool appeared to be clean and free of trash. Would definitely use again as well as recommend for a good stay over for families. Pulled into a couple of other motels in the area and there were large groups of people hanging around outside drinking. However, the area around this motel looked safe and well lit.

  We went and stayed at the motel 8 the weekend of thanksgiving. only after 1 hr of being there the electricity went out for 4 hrs. it snowed that day ...

  We went and stayed at the motel 8 the weekend of Thanksgiving. Only after 1 hr of being there the electricity went out for 4 hrs. It snowed that day at it was freezing. Then after a while the lights came back on and I was having my children take a shower, there was no hot water the whole duration of my stay there. The management said it wasn't their fault, it was just to cold outside!!! Never again!! They never offered an apology or anything to accomidate the situation.

  The hotel was nice, clean and perfectly in line for a moderately priced hotel. The wi-fi worked well and the pool looked nice - didn't get a chance to use it.
  
  For an overnight stay, it was perfect. Fort Stockton as a destination? Let's not get carried away.
  
  We did do the tourist stuff while we were here - it was interesting - and kind of what you would expect from a small West Texas town.

  We were in room 225 and let me tell you I never took off my socks!.On our way to the room there were crumbs on the floor everywhere. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vaccumed for days. Once in the room the mirrior had smudges all over it, carpet was off in some areas, the shower stall was disgusting!!! In the stall was mildew, black stains, and soap scum, hair on the toilet, a/c took a long time to cool room, and there was some sort of bug crawling on the wall.

  this hotel is listed as pet friendly - however AFTER you check in they inform you that if you leave your pet in the room even if in a crate that they will have the animal shelter come seize the YOUR PET!!! Needless to say we did not stay and have been ripped off by this hotel - thier false advertisement cost us $170.00
