  Driving up to this hotel at night, we found a dark building that was less than inviting. Under renovation, this hotel is a bit of a mess at this time. Everything in this hotel/conference center needs to be overhauled. While dressed in hard hats, the staff was a bit overwhelmed with simple tasks like four people checking in at once and likewise, the check out process was just as frustrating. Carpets were spotted, furniture battered and torn, towels were stained and threadbare. No one in our four person group had maid service the second day of our stay. Water was discolored in the tub. Light switch in my bathroom didn't work properly. AC/Heater fan unit under window was very loud. Room was very drab with screws and plates left in the wall where some things were at one time mounted.
  
  Wake up call was on time, though. And the complimentary breakfast was fine. A basic variety of cold items like cereals, juices, breads/english muffins, plus a few hot items (scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy). Local paper was also complimentary.
  
  According to materials in the lobby, the hotel is set to become a Radisson.
  
  If interested in staying here (it is very close to some of the old downtown area), be sure to grill the staff as to the state of the renovation and the availability of the type of room you need. We booked kings, only to discover that only doubles were available on arrival.
