  This was really a great hotel. They said they had just finished remodeling the rooms and it showed. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. My husband and I will definantly stay here again.

  Traveling alone on business and felt very uneasy the whole time I was here. The lobby is pretty but don't let that deceive you. After getting into your room, assuming your key works and you can get into your room....you will feel betrayed. When first parking in front of the room I rented, I unloaded suitcase, laptop and purse...in other words I had my hands full. I inserted the swipe key and nothing....did it again....and nothing. I loaded all my stuff back in my vehicle (did I mention it was raining), drove all the way back around to the front to get another key. Went back to my room and yes, I did it again. I unloaded everything I owned before checking to see if the key worked. The key didn't work the first time, but I continued trying and eventually it worked. Didn't make me feel too safe and had our company's travel department not been closed for the day? I would have called to make other arrangements. Sorry America's Best Value Motel, I will not recomment you to anyone.

• RUN AWAY FAST!

  If you are visiting Waco or Baylor, DO NOT STAY HERE! It is in a decent location being fairly close to campus, but other than that it is awful. First of all, the doors are terrible and and the locks seem cheap, NOT SAFE. Second, the room was really dirty feeling when first entered: the bed had hairs, the sheets smelled, cracks in the wall, stuff falling down, dirty shower. The water in the shower was spotty at best. There was no clock or iron whatsoever (I only mention the iron because it says that it does have one), the phone and TV were very old and the money being spent on cable should be spent on repairs instead. The walls were paper thin and the teenagers coming in and out of the next room for a party sounded like they were coming into my room because the sounds were so clear through the walls. The swimming pool looked like a swamp it was so dirty. On my last night I saw a roach on the wall, that was the last straw.
  In short: Stay Somewhere Else. Yes, it is only about 50 dollars a night, but go down to the Motel 8 for the same price and you will have a much better experience (I have stayed there as well and can say this for a fact).

  The hotel rooms were unclean. The room had a horrible odor of mildew and the bathtub and bathroom floor was disgusting.
  They advertised wireless internet in the rooms but that was false. No other customers there had wireless in their rooms. Ended up sitting in the lobby w/ our laptops.
  There were not enough parking spaces. I was moving my daughter into her dorm and was afraid to leave the car, which was packed full, on the street. We ended up driiving for nearly 30 minutes until someone left and we took their spot.
  The pool was full of debris and cloudy. The hot tub was the same temp as the pool. Unsanitary and shoulld be checked by the health department.
  I will not stay at this hotel again. What a waste of money!

  We had several problems at this hotel:
  1) the air conditioning in the room was not working and it was aug in texas

  We had several problems at this hotel:
  1) The air conditioning in the room was not working and it was Aug in Texas
  2) There was not enough parking in the hotel lot for the amount of rooms to rent
  3) There was no security presence and our car was broken into
  4) The woman at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude when we asked to use the phone to call the police dept to report the break in and again when we asked to borrow a vacuum cleaner to clean the glass out of our car....we ended up driving away with our car seats full of glass as the woman at the desk would not let us use a vacuum.
  We would definitely not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to friends, mostly due to the rudeness of this employee. I feel that customer service should be a priority at a hotel, and not only was there NO customer service, this employee was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. We stay in Waco at least 3-4 times a year and will make other arrangements from now on.
