  The owners were rude, over the phone and in person. The rooms were nasty and we were told there were no other rooms available, even though that was not the case. Family lived upstairs above us - and racket was an all night thing. We have stayed in many places but this was the worst.

  The owners were rude, over the phone and in person. The rooms were nasty and we were told there were no other rooms available, even though that was not the case. Family lived upstairs above us - and racket was an all night thing. We have stayed in many places but this was the worst.

  Room was dirty, bed linens stained and worn, beds uncomfortable. Location is a noisy area in downtown Amsterdam, NY - especially at night. In general, housekeeping was bad. I would NOT recommend it to anyone. There are MUCH better hotels in the area for about the same money.
