  Usually I don't complain about making a bad choice about a hotel, but this hotel is dangerous. I wish I had been warned prior to my trip. Do NOT be casual about booking this hotel. That was my mistake. It is in a rough part of town, the police swarmed it as I was checking in because a gun had been flashed in the lobby. It has weekly rates which is not a good sign in my opinion. Staff was rude, the grounds were filthy and decaying. This is not a safe option for Nashville.

  We will stay again, but, we had a couple of issues, for what we were there for did not completly affect us. The pool was shut down by the state, and The Country Music Cafe on site would not serve us Breakfast because of the 20 year old that was with me. 21 and older means just that! There is a Shoneys around the block that was wonderful! as for the neighborhood your downtown, what do you expect! But perfect location to see the sites. They also have security on site 24 hours.

  The ""rough"" part of town was about 2 blocks away. cops were called to the hotel. not a good environment for children.
