  We stayed three nights in May 2009, during Cornell's graduation weekend. Prices were ridiculous in Ithaca, so we chose Cortland, about 20 miles away, but their price was almost as bad. The room was OK, breakfast OK, but some kind of sand and gravel operation next door kicked up a lot of dust. The building is rundown and needs a major renovation.

  We accidentally booked this hotel online, but glad we did. The whirlpool room with a very comfortable king bed was priced less than most other rooms in the area. The housekeeping staff was exceptionally friendly, but the front desk staff was ""surly"". The room was clean but did have a lingering smoke smell. We would definitely go back!

  We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Cortland and had a very good nights stay. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff was helpfull with directions. The free breakfast was good. We also had dinner at the Denny's next door which was convenient.

  i came home with a row of 3 bites on my stomach. i looked up bedbugs online, and the internet did seem to suggest they are common in hotels, and they leave a row of 2-4 long-lasting bites. fortunately, so far it appears that i did not take any home with me, but just be warned.
