  This will certainly be the first place I look to for all future weekends in the city! Short walk to almost all the sights. Times Square, Empire State Building, Grand Central, etc. Little pricey on the breakfast (it was plentiful and very good though) and the valet parking ($65/night), but overall a great place to stay affordably in the heart of everything.

  My sister helped me pick this hotel and it was the perfect location. most of the museums i went to were within walking distance or a short subway ride. right ...

  My sister helped me pick this hotel and it was the perfect location. Most of the museums I went to were within walking distance or a short subway ride. Right in the heart of downtown. When my parents picked me up, the concierge was VERY helpful in giving them directions from there to Washington DC to avoid the traffic. I am definitely keeping this place in mind when I go to NYC in the future.

  The room was a bit cramped but that's expected for NY. Overall I have to say that everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations. It seems something always goes wrong when I stay in hotels. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean with plenty of towels and bedding. They were more than willing to hold our luggage after checkout so we could enjoy NY for one more day. The valet service was quick. I am quite picky so I will mention the one thing that wasn't "perfect"- the "crib" they provide as a courtesy wasn't a crib at all - it was a playpen (with no mattress). So your little one won't be getting the most comfortable place to sleep (we just let our little one sleep with us). Other than this, I can't think of one single thing to complain about. There's lots of food nearby - if you're looking for a quick bite close by, go to Abitino's (good pizza, good price).

  The staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for us. The location is PERFECT - a few blocks from Times Square but on a side street so it wasn't noisy at all. Highly recommend.
