  This is a minimal frills motel, somewhat dog-eared, with minor repairs needed in many locations. The exercise room is a bit isolated, and felt too creepy to use. The pool (outdoors) was closed. The breakfast buffet decidedly third rate - even a continental breakfast would have been better. On the other hand, the location is decent and the cost very reasonable. As the previous reviewer noted, you get what you pay for. But I agree that a single woman traveler might find the outdoor only access to the rooms to be creepy at night.

  This is a budget motel and is a good value. But the place has some obvious deferred maintenance issues, such as damages to the facade, trees scraping on the building and poorly repaired ceiling. there are no interior entrances to the rooms, which makes going to your room a bit creepy after dark. I didn't notice anyone suspicious looking, but still.... The front desk staff were consistently cheerful and helpful, as was the morning attendant to the breakfast buffet. The food at breakfast, however, was decidedly third rate: bland scrambled eggs, bland and greasy potato chunks, sausage (which I didn't try), cereal (which I didn't try). Hey, its free.... but as the previous reviewer mentioned, you might want to get your breakfast elsewhere. The cable TV selection was limited. Lack of Comedy Central is a glaring defect. Pool was closed both days I stayed there, although it was filled with water.

  If you're a female traveling alone, I wouldn't suggest staying here. It's a little off the beaten trail and at night can be a little eery. With no interior corridors, I really didn't feel safe coming and going after dark; I went on a business trip so I didn't get out much at night anyway. I would certainly stay here if with a couple friends and trying to save money, truly you get what you pay for. The continental breakfast was terrible, be prepared to go to the local McDonald's in the AM. Location was good, just off the highway and close to DFW Airport.
