  The curry smell in the lobby was so strong, I would have asked for my money back immediately (but they don't offer refunds in any circumstances). Hotel staff very professional and helpful. A no hassle checkin and out. Room smell wasn't musty or dusty but reminded me of ""old"" smell. Slight smell of curry even in the rooms. It was clean and quiet, beds slept ok for an away from home bed. Frig in room worked but looked like it hadn't been defrosted in months. Shower had hot water and drains worked fine. TV remote ok, but no guide and with cable, it was a bit frustrating to find something good to watch. SInus congestion upon waking. Several other patrons talked about that in the parking lot too. Breakfast was fresh, not much variety but more than I've seen in my travels for contential fare, just enough to take the edge off hunger in the morning. Breakfast and lobby all in one place, one location less to worry about in unknown surroundings. They need to replace carpets and freshen up the room and get rid of that obnoxious curry smell in the front lobby.

  Hotel is very clean ,parking lots is nedd to be litle imporvment. room was clean. room is painted very nice .new carpet .and nice comprotable room.

  I picked the Days Inn because I erroneously thought it was the closest hotel to Austin in Bastrop. THIS IS A LIE. The Days Inn is actually the FARTHEST away from Austin, adding several extra miles to my drive. When I pulled up my first thought was: "What a dump". And it is. The minute I walked into my room I could smell the must, and as soon as I turned on the A/C my throat started to close. While the room is clean, it's furnishings are dated and limited. And of course, anyone with allergies should avoid this place at all costs.
  
  This place is about the quality of a Motel 6, but at twice the price.
  
  I'm supposed to stay here for two days but I'm going to find a different hotel for the second night, there's no reason to be a masochist about this.

  They had canceled my room by the time i got there and i was only about 20 min. late and we had drove over 18 hrs. so that made me ...

  They had canceled my room by the time I got there and I was only about 20 min. late and we had drove over 18 hrs. so that made me a little mad but they finally got us a room. Every thing was very clean. Beds were a little uncomfortable but other than that the stay was okay.
