  The room was full of crickets. i called the desk, but there was noone available to get them out. they offered another room, but my mother is unable to walk, ...

  The room was full of crickets. I called the desk, but there was noone available to get them out. They offered another room, but my mother is unable to walk, so that was not possible. The furniture is ratty. The room is unclean and unfit for human (or unhuman) habitation. Don't stay in this hotel!!

  Were the rooms, carpeting and linen one whit the more ratty, the place would be declared ""public housing"". seriously in need of refurbishment or demolition.
