  we booked a king suite (smoking room ) for two nights. when we arrived at the hotel we were informed that they had made a mistake and booked our room to another family for the second night. They did find us a queen suite but the room was located over top of the stairs and we heard children running up and down the hall and stairs all hours of the night. Young children at that. The suite was two small rooms converted to a suite. It was old and unclean. All and all this was an unpleasant place to stay. If you want cheap rooms and lots of noise this hotel is the place to be, but if you want to relax (away from screeming children) and just enjoy yourselves, I would not recommend this hotel.

  We stayed at this hotel one night to check out Plattsburgh State. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was VERY clean and comfortable. Micro and fridge came with the room which was a great asset as the child I had with me has special dietary needs. Could tell hotel was older but the room was sufficient. Bathroom was immaculate! The entrances to the buidlings do not have security locks and stay wide open leaving outside access to the hallways of the rooms which I did not feel comfortable with. They should have those locked. There was also a $1.50 safe fee for the safe in the room which you do not get the choice of declining. Continental breakfast was bagels or cereal but everything was fresh. For the price I felt it was a good value, but hope that they will add some more safety measures in the future. We plan many more trips to this area and will not hesitate to stay here again!

  I would like to start off by saying that check in was fast, and effeicent. The staff was very pleasant and made my husband and myself feel like we were at home. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding! The heated indoor pool was a great feature! We will return :)
