  The free breakfast was a joke. I would have been better off going to the gas station for fresher coffee! Over-all the hotel was not in a good part of town in my opinion. We were going to a baseball tournament and it was close to the field but that was the only good thing about it. I will never stay at any Econo-Lodge again.

  It's not a gorgeous place but it's an excellent value, very clean, quiet, and the staff are marvelous. It is obvious that they take great pride in their little place. We stayed here while my son did reserve duty at Ft. Hood so "low price" and proximity to the base were the key factors. This is an older building in an older, commercial part of town but I was quite surprised at how well kept and clean it is. For security, there are plenty of lights outside. The parking spaces are just outside the room doors. Inside, the rooms are small, but efficient, including a microwave and refrigerator. The air conditioner was a bit noisy but it did a good job. I would definitely stay here again.
