  This motel is DIRTY, old, and scary. From the musty odor, mysterious bathroom stains and TWO resident ROACHES, our room was SUBSTANDARD. Not worth the $* per night. You would do better to go to the Motel 6.

  This is a older hotel/motel; one in need of extensive remodeling. The contential breakfast was served in a 6 x 10 room with one table! The food choices were terrible - some pastry/muffin/cold cerals/cool milk. OJ/apple juice and coffee were the drink choices. Nothing hot. We had "gnats" and crickets in the room - there were just enough to bother you. The door would not close tight enough to keep the "bugs" out. I had the impression the owners, new or old, had purchased the property and did not have the capital to remodel and were doing it on the "cheap". The bath towels and washcloths were very rough and thin. We did have plenty of hot water - at all times! Was this room worth $*/night - not on your life. Reminded me of these fly by night places, where you can get a room for $* and move on the next morning - thats what it was worth. I would have moved, but San Marcos was full while we were there - no other place to go.

  Rodeway inn is well located specially if you goal is going shopping to san marcos mall.in my opinion, beds are too soft, i prefer not so soft ...
