  Hotel well run and well cared for. Smooth registration and checkout. We randomly picked a restaurant from a list at front desk . We had a terrible meal at Colorado Mining Company. Later found that restaurant has a rather poor reputation. Avoid the restaurant. Enjoy the hotel.

  This is an inexpensive motel near the "action" in Liverpool. It is close to both I-90 and I-81 and, as a place to crash for the night (whether headed north to Ontario, west to Niagara, or east to NYC or New England -- this was a pretty good deal. Ask for directions to the Retreat for burgers, seafood, and beer. The room was more than adequate with a separate couch area. There is in-room wireless internet access but not for every room. Be sure to specify that you need wireless (if you do) otherwise ask for the ethernet cable. The breakfast (included) was rather poor -- crappy bagels, cheerios or flakes, stale crossaints, oj or cranberry, lousy coffee in a crmaped little room with the tv turned up too loud. This should not be considered a benefit whatsoever. We paid @ $70 including taxes on the Friday before fourth of July.

  I booked here on the strength of the reviews, but should have known better. This wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed but it is among the lower tier. It was clean enough I guess, but everything was so stained and worn in was hard to tell. The bathroom is so small you can barely shut the door if you are in there. We ended up switching hotels for the next night, and for $15 more got a beautiful, new, super clean room that seemed like heaven. But now I have leverage with my husband...if he complains about hotel rates, I say "would you rather stay at the Knight's Inn?"

  Have stayed here twice now. It's a good place for road travelers. No frills, but clean and functional. All room furniture and facilities were in good working order. The motel is visible from the Thruway exit, so it's easy to find. Parking is virtually at the door of your room. Don't look for entertainment. There is no ability to walk to anything from the property and there is nothing to walk to anyway. Complimentary continental breakfast is very limited, but at this price, I wasn't expecting anything.
