  Arrived using a pre-paid rate. They were obviously unhappy about this and made it clear at checkin. Insisted I pay an additional $10 and then said they would shut off my phone without the $10 even after I had already given them a platinum AMEX card for incidentals.

  Beautifully restored hotel. Wonderful lobby area to sit and have a drink or to just bring the kids by to watch the ducks. Very nice rooftop view of Memphis. Didn't visit any of the hotel restaurants but did enjoy appetizers and breakfast on the Club level floor. This amenity was very nice in the evening with X hosting. She was very helpful with recommendations for seeing the city.

  We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Everything was clean, beautiful and well staffed. The restaurant was excellent. Check in was a little rocky as none of the front desk staff spoke English as a first language. The only thing lacking was FoxNews. Would love to go back as soon as possible!

  My husband and I stay there almost every year during the IBC. Upon check in last January, they could not find my reservation even though I had the confirmation in hand. The long wait was ridiculous. They then ""upgraded"": us with an apology. Our ""upgrade"" was a dust laden itty bitty room. Showering was hot then cold then hot, cold etc. We had no maid service one whole day. Stopped at desk and complained then the next day they woke us up to clean. Bed was very comfy. Overpriced and living on a reputation that will fade if they do not clean up their act. Dining is good, but not worth the money. Parking is very costly. They add on a lot of additional cost to your bill, The best thing is the closeness to downtown area attractions. Rooftop view is the best. Overall, will not revisit the Peabody. Our years of staying have come to an end!
