• Misleading and Contradictory Map & Directions

  Traavelocity misled my wife and I by indicating on their map that this motel was on the beach side of the road, when we arrived to the island the motel was on the opposite side of the main thoroughfare and much farther from the beach than 1 block that was indicated. When we tried to cancel the reservation Travelocity refused to give us our money back. We spent the night at the hotel and moved the next day to the beach side of the island and had a great stay, in spite of Travelocity's lack of customer service. We ended up paying double for our accomodations. We will NEVER use Travelocity again and will look for every opportunity to get the word out about how they treat their customers all for a few bucks.

  My daughter and I just got back from a short trip to Padre island. We had read a few reviews and had low expectaions of the hotel. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the accomodations. The front desk staff was effiecient and helpful. The rooms were clean, the air conditoning was wonderful, breakfast in the morning was decent. Loved the location, just a short walk to the beach. We would book our next trip there.

  The island was more than what we bargained for ... and the room was comfortable , clean , and quiet. We will definately stay again next year. The rate was reasonable and we got extra fresh towels when ever we asked.. trust that it was an awesome stay .
