  Overall it was a great stay. When I got there the guy was a tad rude but he was having a bad day and he was tried. After that though he was great and the entire staff was helpful. Only bad thing is the majority of the staff speaks Spanish, luckily for us I am fluent and could talk to them. The room was very nice and well kept. The pool was good, until it rained and the rain water came through the roof into the pool. Weight room was good for a smaller hotel. One thing to remember is there is parking in the back of the hotel. I was on the first floor and the door to the back lot was right next to my room making everything much easier. Favorite part, the free breakfast. Yes, I did just say that was the favorite part. Free make-it-yourself waffles, coffee, apple and orange juice, muffins and more. It was amazing. Also if you want to go into the city from there. Hop a 10-15 minute cab ride to White Plains, hop on the Metro North straight to Grand Central (if you catch the express trains it is only half an hour). One thing I liked was on the way back form the train station my last day a cab driver charged me more than he should have. The front desk helped me find information on the company and gave me advice on how to deal with the situation and it worked. Got the entire cab fare back and everything.

  Be aware that this motel is located far away from most services. I would not recommend the local delivered pizza. Regular bus service to White Plains is only a block away, across a couple of corporate parking parking lots; a feature that the desk was unaware of, but the help knew. I had a large, clean room. The adjacent closed restaurant leant a unfortunate feeling of abandonment.

  Where to begin? Pot party on the third floor made a guest move his grandchildren to another room. Construction was ongoing; I would not have reserved at this hotel had I known). No extra blankets and the blanket provided was equivalent to a flannel sheet. During rainstorm thee was a massive flood in the bathroom, and this was a first floor room in a four story hotel. There is more.

  You should be aware that the hotel is under construction. we were shocked when we arrived, but their was not a problem with noise or dust.

  We found the hotel to be better than expected. the rooms were clean. the front desk was pleasant and the pool person was very helpful.breakfast was enjoyable.
