  I stay here often for business, and have found it to be a consistently good experience. The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are always clean and the bed .... in a word... AMAZING! It is the first place I attempt to book when ever I am in town. Thanks for another great stay!

  We booked this hotel strictly from the positive comments on the Travelocity site and were not disappointed. The room was awesome, the restaurant was terrific. We ate there 4 times when there were a million other options right around the corner. Nice outdoor patio area with heaters, and twinkly lights. Near everything, easy to get cabs, subway and trains right around the corner from Grand Central Station. This will hopefully be an annual event for us at "our" hotel, The Fitzpatrick!!

  I recently spent the weekend at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel in NYC, and found it to be a fabulous find! This was my first time at the Fitzpatrick, although I visit NY often, and I got a really good room rate through online travel website. The room was a deluxe room with queen size bed. At check in I requested a high floor and facing the street (not a wall), and they gave me a wonderful room on the 8th floor--plenty of light with windows on two sides, very spacious, beautiful linens and toiletries, wonderful marble bathroom with good shower, plenty of hangers, fridge and coffee maker, immaculate, and the world's softest and cushiest bed.. From the Front Desk to Housekeeping, everyone was professional, pleasant, and accommodating. I also had two breakfasts at the Pub, which were very good, although the sausage was a little undercooked--however, had I asked them to take them back and cook them longer, they would have. Providing the NY Times (including Sunday) outside the restaurant for guests, was also a great civilized touch. Location on 44th between Lexington and Third turned out to be fine, with Grand Central Station and subway lines right across the street. All in all, I have absolutely no complaints, and thank the hotel for such a wonderful stay.

  This was a very nice quiet hotel with excellent service. The staff offered assistance and tips on the city. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. Best sleep I've had in a long time. I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends. It's a nice quiet retreat to return to after a day exploring NYC. Grand Central was a couple minutes walk away and we walked everywhere we went.

  Excellent value, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff. fairly small rooms, but freshly renovated and quiet.
