  This hotel was perfect for our family of 4. We have 2 small children and we could walk to anything. It isn't a new and updated faclity however we appreciated the character of the building. I felt very safe and infact my daughter and I walked to Starbucks late one night. The rooms are small, cozy and fits the norm of a small NYC apartment. My little girl wants me to mention it was small, but we weren't in our room a lot... only to sleep. Hotel staff was very helpful and always cheery!

  This was the worst, dirtiest, old hotel I have ever stayed in. The paint was peeling off the walls , the pipes were exposed, the carpets filthy, and noisy. I asked for an upgrade and they charged me fifty dollars more a night. Bugs were crawling on the dirty carpets..........would never....never......NEVER stay there again.

  We stayed for three days and found the room to be exceptable for its price range. It was clean and had fairly comfortable beds. the staff was friendly and helpful when we asked questions or for directions. simply stated we wanted clean and comfy... we got it. If you are expecting extras, then get out your wallet and upgrade to a pricey hotel. This place was fine for the bargain traveler.

  This place is great! I stayed for 8 days, the room was cleaned every day, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and courteous! The bed was especially comfortable, and the duvet was a great touch. This is not a ritzy place, but I have to say that the location is second to none! You are a half block from anything, the subway, Times Square, broadway shows, Starbuck's, a couple of Irish pubs, and many restaurants! I traveled alone, felt very safe, and would and probably will stay again.
