  This hotel used to be the Wyndham and really needed some TLC... well, they spared no expense at updating this landmark hotel right off of I-40 in downtown Memphis. Great location and shuttle service to/from Beale Street and other local downtown attractions. Great value for the money!

• I Would Stay Here Again

  The entire stay was a breeze from beginning to end. Quick check-in. Room was nice, clean and comfortable...could have used a little extra space for our roll-away bed but still not bad. They brought the roll-away bed to our room very quickly after our request and the gentleman was very friendly and courteous. The only con was there was only one shuttle van running and too many people to fit and we would have waited forever, so we ended up walking to Beale Street. It is less than a mile so again, no problem at all. Check out was also a quick process and I do believe they did not charge us extra for the roll-away which is a nice surprise. All 5 of us in our group liked the hotel and said we would stay there again. FYI Parking is $ per day I did not see it listed anywhere when researching hotels. Price, location, comfort, cleanliness, and great customer service all made this an enjoyable stay.

  My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Memphis June 24-27 and were very pleased. What we loved best was the complimentary shuttle service to everywhere in downtown Memphis. The shuttle drivers were friendly, professional, helpful, and, most of all, knowledgeable. They helped with everything from Memphis history to recommendations for good restaurants. I booked this hotel based on reviews raving about the comfortable beds and will stay here again because of the shuttle service as well as the beds. Not only have I encouraged my friends and family to visit Memphis, I've let them know that Crowne Plaza is the only hotel worth staying in.

  As I had never been to Memphis before and had heard some rather unsavory stories of hotels, I walked into the Crowne Plaza with my eyebrow raised. What a pleasant surprise. The hotel was clean, the staff in the lobby area were both sweet and helpful. The room was large and clean and the housekeeping staff even went so far as to ask if my room was okay after they cleaned it. That was a first for me and I have traveled all over the world. It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end and I would stay there again as well as recommend it to friends and co-workers if asked.
