  In its day this was probably a great hotel. It has a pool in an atrium that is overlooked by rooms on two sides. Glass walls run all 4 or 5 stories on the front and back of the building. Although tit has potential to be very good again, it is apparent the hotel is not being maintained to acceptable standards. The carpets were badly worn throughout, wood was chipped on door frames, caulk was separating in the bathroom, and the windows had apparently not been cleaned on the outside in sometime. I could not see out of my room's window without some effort. The staff was mundane. The good part of this hotel is that the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and it was quiet. The price was moderate so it appears that owners/operators understand this hotel can't bring top dollar.

  Hairs in tub, housekeeping had left for day? queen suite was large, but carpet was yucky. they have a no pet policy, but icky carpets? mattresses were bad and creaky. ...

I would stay again because of room size: if checking in earlier, when housekeeping is in, and if they allowed a small pets.Pool looked cloudy and dirty."

  AWFUL, awful mattresses ? thin, very hard, could hear and feel the springs. Very large room, but not enough furniture. Carpet looked ratty and didn?t fit. Room seemed a little run down. Sign at desk said ?Pardon our Renovations? but we didn?t see any happening. Little furniture in public areas. Pool was wonderfully warm. Staff was pleasant. Bar was nice. No price displayed for breakfast buffet.
