  I couldn't stay there. The place was a mess. Warnings about asbestos removal, warnings to close your curtains because the const workers came early in the am. The place smelled bad it was rank and damp. The halls were dark and dirty. The carpet was stained. They aren't going to re-do the rooms til the winter. The staff was nice and showed me another room on a higher floor, but it was musty too. The staff was very nice and booked me into a neighboring Holiday Inn express which is new and just fine.

  Stayed here on a hot, summer evening. room was in the "annex", which i heard from maintenance is scheduled to be torn down soon anyway. hallways had terrible "old hotel" ...

  Stayed here on a hot, summer evening. Room was in the "Annex", which I heard from Maintenance is scheduled to be torn down soon anyway. Hallways had terrible "old hotel" odor (smoke, etc.), that permeated into the room. Room A/C was broken. Maintenance could not fix it - they gave me a tired old box fan as compensation. I understand that most of the rest of the hotel A/C was not working (although the lobby was nice and cool...). Toilet in the bathroom was a "weak flusher". Hotel is undergoing renovation which includes asbestos removal, so things are blocked off. Also, there is no free breakfast. The best part about my stay was leaving, really. I normally have no problems with even low-budget hotels.

  I travel on business to Syracuse 1 week a month and always stay at this hotel. The staff is accommodating, and super friendly, and the location can't be beat. They know me by name and are easy to talk to and ask questions. I would never hesistate to recommend this hotel to any other travelers heading to the Syracuse area.

  This property fits my needs when I travel to visit family in the area. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the property is very convenient to all major highways. I always feel at home when I stay here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to any of my family or friends.
