  I just got back from Saratoga and staying here. This place is definetly overpriced but during the racing season ,that seems to be the case in all the hotels and motels on Saratoga. The bathroom tlle had mildew stains on it as was the shower curtain. not as clean as it could or should have been for a hilton The hallways were extremely uncomfortable with no air conditioning, this during a week long heat wave. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

  First off I want to say that every employee at the hotel was very friendly and professional. Circumstances beyond their control contributed to quite possibly the worst night in a hotel I have ever had. I made a reservation online for a hotel room so I could attend a concert at the nearby SPAC Amphetheater. The room was a bit more then I was used to paying for a hotel room but my girlfriend and I wanted a mini-vacation so we figured we might as well stay in a nice hotel. After checking in we went to our room and noticed that the room was a bit warm so I tried to turn on the A/C. The A/C stayed on for about 30 seconds and shut off. I figured it wasnt a big deal and we went to our concert and enjoyed the show. In returning to our room at around 12 Midnight it was quite warm and the A/C still was not working. I asked about the A/C with the front desk and our room was changed. Everything was fine untill about 4:00 when a sound I can only describe as the sound Optimus Prime from the Transformers must make when he snores. I though it may have been another guest snoring but after a while I thought they might be dying and decided to check with the front desk at 5:00am. In going to the desk the loud banging sound was echoing throughout the hotel and when speaking to the manager he said there was an Issue with the A/C cooling tower and there was nothing he could do until maintenence arrived. I spent the rest of the night unable to sleep and was next to useless the next morning as I had 3 hours of sleep at best. We still heard the noise at 11:00 when we checked out the next morning. I have e-mail their customer service and hopefully will hear back from them. If you plan to go to saratoga springs dont go to the hilton garden inn as it is quite frankly the worst hotel expirience I have ever had!

  Reservations were for 2 nights. Upon arrival the room appeared clean. The room did not receive any type of service or cleaning after our check in. Very disappointed that the bathrooms were not cleaned (sink/tub/shower) or towels, glasses not refreshed. Hotel has policy regarding replacement of towels, however, they never checked. On going cleanliess was an issue. Staff was very friendly. Regarding next visit, I will more than likely check other hotels in the area for availability before automatically reserving a room here.

  We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. I especially liked being so close to downtown Saratoga Springs AND the park, Dance Museum and SPAC. The Staff was courteous and the room was very clean - it included a frig AND mircowave. all in all, very nice. We didn't eat breakfast at the Hotel though because it was an extra $10 each. We walked down the road to a diner for half the price.
