  I purchased room online on another site. The lobby & common area couch and chair were not just dirty, they were filthy. I decided then that I was not going to partake of the next morning's complimentary breakfast. There was a dog in the lobby despite posted signs against it. The desk clerk did nothing. When returning from dinner, police were questioning a guest in the lobby about a concealed weapon. All light bulbs in the room were low wattage giving poor visibility. Two of the four lights above the vanity were burnt out. The room carpet was billowed up so badly in many places that I worried about tripping. The only thing posistive I can say is on that particular night, my room was quiet. This hotel does not live up to your rating!

  For whatever reason, I suppose booking on short notice, I had to pay about $20/night over the regular rate. I chose this hotel because it had a high safety and security rating, but when I check in I'm informed that the doors will be locked at 8:00 because they were robbed a few nights before. There were several people there with dogs, large dogs, and they were in the lobby/lounge area despite signage to the contrary. My wife and I love dogs, but she's allergic. There was no shampoo in the room. I went down for coffee at 7:30 on the first morning, but it wasn't made yet and I couldn't find anyone to ask. The continental breakfast wasn't acceptable. Stale bread, no fruit, items not ready (I had to ask for orange juice!). The waffle was so bad my grandson wouldn't eat it, and he loves waffles. I know, I sound like a whiner, but I wouldn't write this review if I didn't feel strongly about it. We were charged $**.** a night for crap service that would have been a ripoff at $**.**. Never again!

  This is an older hotel; but is very clean and easy to find. staff was very friendly and will stay here again.

  Enjoyed our stay, convenient location, very clean and friendly staff. still a little pricey but will probably stay again.

  We traveled for 8 hours and were hoping to find a nice clean room, and bathroom. the room seemed very clean except for the windows. but the bathroom needed deep ...

  We traveled for 8 hours and were hoping to find a nice clean room, and bathroom. The room seemed very clean except for the windows. But the bathroom needed deep cleaning. Toilet was clean but the tub area and floor were black with mold. A little bleach would go a long way.
