  This hotel is great for people on the go who are looking for no frills clean comfort while exploring the area around Albany. Our room was small but the bed was comfy. There was no shampoo but a call to the desk fixed that. Also had a nice breakfast. The hotel is right off the freeway exit. The only drawback is that the hotel is on a very small side road that is not well marked, and there is street construction going on, so the hotel access was a little difficult. Once the construction is done that shouldn't be a problem. We would stay again for sure.

  With the other glowing reviews, I honestly had higher expectations. It is a decent budget hotel, but by no means, anything spectacular. We paid a few dollars more for the higher level queen bed room. It was super-tiny, like what you'd expect in New York City where space is at a premium, not in this land of strip malls and big box stores. It was basically big enough for the queen bed, and just enough to walk around the three sides of it. If all you plan on doing here is sleeping, then that's fine since the bed was comfortable enough (though the sheets weren't tucked in at all - a little odd). If you plan on relaxing with tv or doing work at the desk, it isn't really set up to do that very well. I mean, you'll be fine for a few minutes, but I wouldn't want to watch a whole movie on that tv or sit at the tiny desk for very long. Oh, and there isn't a sofa or anything so the bed is your only option for watching tv. The bathroom was also adequate. I don't think shampoo or conditioner was provided. It could have been cleaner - there was a film of dust and hairs on the edge of the bathtub -kind of gross. The breakfast was ok. Coffee, Sunny Delight, 2 kinds of cereal, instant oatmeal, milk, English muiffins, and some pre-packages pastries. Again, adequate would be the word to describe it. Nothing special, but it should meet your needs. The staff was mixed. Most of the front desk staff seemed to have an attitude, but the guy who stocked and cleaned up the breakfast area was really friendly. Overall, a good choice if price and location are your deciding factors.

  Hotel is clean and neat, room is fine for quick stay. clean sheets, bath. friendly staff. location just off 87 was great.

  This hotel is MUCH nicer then a budget hotel. The room size is generous. The bedding is excellent! The front desk staff is extremely nice! The only downfall was the lack of sitting area to enjoy the very sufficient continential breakfast. However, someone at the hotel told me that they are renovating a room to become the breakfast dining area. I would definatley stay again anytime I am in the area. You CANNOT beat the price for what you get!!
