  I came to San Angelo from Monterey, CA (military-move) and I have to say that this hotel was FANTASTIC! The location is great and very close to the mall, movie theater, shopping centers and a variety of restaurants. Plus, if you are stationed at Goodfellow AFB, it's only like 7 minutes away or so. This hotel had very spacious rooms, is pet friendly, has a very nice pool and offers a decent continental breakfast. My family stayed in the hotel while I was doing inprocessing at Goodfellow and the hotel staff was very friendly and the location was close enough to a Pizza Hut and other stores that they were able to walk there safely. Better yet, if you are military, they offer a discount. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all of my friends and family members.

  Hotel was satisfactory. Outside appearance was great, pool and common areas were nice. We had a suite, which was really just an attached room with a fold-out couch and fridge/microwave in it. The fold-out couch was broken and the fridge had yucky ketchup on it that hadn't been cleaned. Room a little damp feeling, even with A/C on. Staff gave us another room for the kids as a fix for the broken bed. Good, basic room overall.
