  We arrived at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites in Dallas/ Uptown on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, and stayed thru Saturday, November 28th. The front desk clerk was able to check us in early (11a.m.) and without any delays. We found the staff to be courteous and very professional. We stayed in a large studio suite that had two double beds and a sofa-sleeper. The kitchen was small but very clean and fully supplied with everything needed to make our stay comfortable (dishes, untensils, pots & pans, etc.). Since it was the holiday, the hotel was extremely quite. We ate the breakfast at the hotel only once... They had a nice selection (eggs, bacon, potatoes, crepes, bagels, toast, cereals, yogurt & fruit, etc.) so everyone enjoy it. We also enjoyed the unlimited internet access! Overall -- We would stay at Hyatt Summerfield Suites again if given the opportunity.

  It does look just like the pictures. They offer garaged parking for $6 per day, which isn't bad that close to downtown Dallas. The room was beautiful, as was the rest of the hotel. LOVED the big flat screen TV! Very roomy and very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had included with my hotel room. Lots of tables for everyone to eat, and lots of food choices. The kitchen included everything you could imagine. The only downside for us were the down pillows - I'm allergic, but they had a synthetic one up in the big closet.

  After getting lost, I tried to call the hotel, but online travel website printed an advertisement over the number. It turns out we had driven past the hotel because the name had changed to something completely different, with Hyatt in it. When we got there, the non-apologetic staff said the name had changed the same day I made my reservation. Also, they did not have an ice machine and the icemaker takes hours.

  They were in the middle of remodeling (upgrading) when I stayed there but I was in town to see a Dallas Mavericks game. Its an easy distance to walk to American Airlines for an NBA game. I enjoyed having a room with a refrigerator and kitchen sink and utensils plus a microwave. Also, a great hi-def TV and DVD player though they had limited channels and no TV channel guide. The suite was spacious and bed very comfortable. I was stay there again and believe it will be even better when remodeling is completed.

  Front desk was nice, room was ok - the whole place was under construction and that was not very attractive. Breakfast was slow - lots of people, so you had to wait. Location was great for access to AA center. Pool was center of hotel
